Description

The Hayling Island branch was a 4½ mile long railway branch line in south Hampshire.
An ex London Brighton & South Coast Railway 0-6-0 ‘Terrier’ tank locomotive crosses the Langstone Harbour timber viaduct with a Havant to Hayling Island branch line train in the summer of 1963 four months before the line closed in November of that year.
